Kerry & Gary’s Adventurous Wedding Day at The Mainland
Location: The Mainland, St. Mary’s Parish, Manahawkin, New Jersey
Highlights: After shooting Kerry and Gary’s engagement session in New Hope, to learning their venue had go-karts on the premise, the anticipation for this day was at an all-time high. The morning was full of excitement while we photographed flat-lay details, the cutest PJs, and classic Converse sneakers. While the girls continued to get ready, the boys had a celebratory toast and made their way to the go-karts where they showed off their skills behind the wheel. The groomsmen ate Gary’s dust and thankfully walked away mostly unscathed. Kerry had a very sweet first-look moment with her dad before we all made our way to the ceremony. They made it official and sealed their vows with a kiss leading us to take some bridal party photos at the church and the little beach nearby. We headed to the venue to cool off with a drink in the AC, capturing a few more moments by the bar before it was time for Kerry and Gary to head over to have some fun in the arcade. After they sank a few free throws, they made their way to the track and took advantage of the perfect wedding photo-op on the go-karts and finish line. Despite having as much fun as a group of little kids, it was finally time to meet everyone to kick off the reception! Throughout the night we were in disbelief at the dance moves on display. Kerry got down and Gary showed us his best worm, which was very impressive. We cut the cake and took them outside where the humidity lingered heavy in the air. It gave the outside lights this nice hazy glow, an amazing backdrop for some night shots. Kerry and Gary truly had the most fun and amazing wedding day from start to finish!
