Hartshorne Woods Park Styled Shoot

We had visited Hartshorne Woods Park many times, and on a recent trek we discovered this brick wall with windows in it, standing alone in the middle of a small field. It had obviously once been a part of a structure, but now it was just one solitary wall seemingly so out of place in the middle of the woods. We fell in love with this spot and decided it would be the perfect place for a styled wedding shoot.

We got a wonderful team together and started by getting our gorgeous model Paula Christina Domingues ready with Molly McNamara from Lock & Shade Salon doing hair and Chys Coles on makeup. We helped Paula into her gorgeous Lulus gown and went to meet our handsome groom model Camron James at Hartshorne where we quickly discovered it was freezing! Our models were absolute troopers and said they had no problems with working in the cold.

The golden hour light streaming through the trees gave everything a fairytale vibe. Our “couple” had so much chemistry it was hard to believe we were on a styled shoot. We found a picturesque bridge to photograph on and then we headed to our main attraction, THE WALL. Paula’s incredible boho inspired bouquet from Harley Rose Floral looked like it was made specifically for this spot. It was so perfect!

At this point, Paula was turning blue from the cold so we stopped to warm her up. Thankfully Camron kept her close and that helped. They insisted we keep shooting! These photos were so romantic we’re at a loss for words. Finally, we brought out the final touch - we had put together a wedding cake for the occasion so we could showcase one of our custom cake toppers! We got some super fun photos of our couple feeding each other and smearing a little frosting on each other. This was the vision we had, and everyone worked together so well to bring it together!
