Hey! Allyson & Kamelia here, figuring it was time we introduced ourselves to you guys. We feel that it’s super important to get to know the people behind the companies you choose to hire for your special occasions. These are the people who you are trusting to help you have the most beautiful, memorable event.
So here are some tidbits about us to give you a glimpse into who we are as people and business owners.
A little about Allyson
I have taken art classes for as long as I can remember. A camera fell into my hands during high school, which lead to me to complete a double major in graphic design and photography in college. I spent over a decade in the world of commercial and portrait photography. I love to capture the perfect candid moment as well as the editing process. I am the oldest of 7 kids, have lived in 4 different states and always have a story to share. I love to create and bring people’s visions to life. You can find me regularly teaching yoga, going on road trips, or doing home renovation projects with my boyfriend Jake and our rescue land seal, Bruce.
A little about Kamelia
I fell in love with photography 8 years ago and haven’t put down my camera since. I have always been a naturally curious person and this led to my love of candid street photography and a journalism major. My goal is to capture real emotions and memories, which can get lost in the bustle of a special event. I live with my husband Danny, my 3 sons Jonny, Aaron, and Benjamin, and our English bulldog Isabelle (she helps me keep some female energy in the house.) When I’m not taking photographs, you can find me writing, performing at open mics, and going on adventures preferably on the back of a motorcycle!
We have been fast friends since 2015. Our Aquarius personalities really vibe off each other and we push each other creatively. We started Wild Hearts with the hope of capturing those special moments in our clients’ lives, and creating timeless keepsakes they can hold on to forever.
