Highlights: Stephanie & Nick’s wedding morning started out rainy and cold and we were worried about the rest of the day. However, miraculously, the skies parted to show off gorgeous sunshine and warmer temperatures - signaling the start of Spring. We started off at the Chateau Inn with Stephanie and her awesome bridesmaids. They brought such great energy and we knew the whole day was going to be a blast! We popped champagne and took some fun shots before Stephanie’s mom and godmother got her dressed. We were all trying so hard not to cry at this point. Thankfully, Spring Lake Park was right across the street and Nick was waiting for us under the perfect overhang of cherry blossom branches. Their first look was really sweet and we let them just be in the moment and let their love + the epic background give us the perfect photos. Then we headed to The Mill for the rest of their day. Our girls looked so good in pastels and the guys looked dashing in their black ties. We had fun joking and walking around and then Nick did this insane summersault in the air ON THE DOCK that had us both so worried and impressed at the same time. We headed inside for more epic formal photos by the fireplace (and to get warm) before stealing our bride and groom away for some romantic alone time. We were so happy that it was warm enough to have their ceremony outside (The Mill has the most gorgeous outdoor ceremony space) and the whole thing had us bursting with joy for Stephanie and Nick as they said “I do”! They read private vows to each other after the ceremony on the dock just as the golden hour sun gave them the most ethereal glow. Their reception was a roller coaster of emotions for everyone - the toasts (especially commemorating Stephanie’s dad) had us all in tears, and when Nick danced with his mom, Nick’s dad grabbed Stephanie for a dance and we all lost it completely. What a beautiful joining of families! The rest of the night was spent joyously dancing and with a bubble send-off our newlyweds ended their perfect day!
