Stefanie & Mike’s Spicy Wedding By the Sea
Location: Manasquan, Sunset Park, Pascal and Sabine, Taco Bell, Asbury Park, Belmar, Belmar Fishing Club, New Jersey
Highlights: From the moment we spoke with Stef and Mike about their vision for their wedding day, we couldn’t wait for the day to arrive. Two words, Taco Bell. In the morning they both dressed to the nines, started the day off with a toast, and hugged their pups before heading to first look at Sunset Lake in Asbury Park. They each gave a twirl and threw down a few poses to show off their looks as we snapped away at their cuteness. We threw them in our car and made our way to our first stop, a super cool and swanky restaurant, Pascal and Sabine. Stef and Mike ordered some champagne to sip on as they got cozy in the oversized booths and sneaked some kisses in the little nooks. It was then finally time to head over to their favorite local eatery, Taco Bell, for a little mid-day snack. They popped a squat on the curb and shared some bites, making sure not to get any sauce on Mike’s white linen suit (which he did but Kamelia always packs extra Shout wipes so it was fine). We concluded our short tour of Asbury Park and traveled south to the Belmar Fishing Club where the guests gathered and the beautiful ceremony on the pier began. It was a short and sweet ceremony, including a few laughs, and ended with a kiss. Stef and Mike walked hand-in-hand down the pier straight inside to celebrate with a shot of tequila, kicking off the party the best way they knew how. Our couple brought the energy with their intros, shared a few special dances, heard some loving words during the speeches and continued the romance with a few photos on the beach and under the pier. Sweet Chin Music, the wedding band with an amazing WWE reference, kept everyone on their feet and we quickly cut cake so we could get back to dancing. The celebrating continued well after we left, with an outfit change, matching kicks, and our new Mr. and Mrs. dancing on the bar, which we believe is the only way to properly end a wedding on the Jersey Shore.
