Carolyn & Kyle’s Stunning DIY Wedding at Blue Heron Pines

Location: Blue Heron Pines Golf Club

Highlights: Carolyn and Kyle planned their New Jersey wedding from Nashville where they live now. We were the first vendor they booked and we were all highly anticipating and eager for this wedding day to finally arrive. When Carolyn told us she was going to DIY everything, we had no idea she meant EVERYTHING, and how amazing it would all look. From the invitations to the decor to every last detail, she executed it all perfectly. Their bridal party was the funnest bunch of friends and they all looked amazing in the orange and grey colors Carolyn chose. The groomsmen surprised Kyle with a fake-out first look and it was beyond hilarious when he turned around and all his friends were there in tiny little shorts. Our actual first look with Carolyn was a lot less funny and a lot more emotional. The golf course had lots of green and plenty of gorgeous trees and Fall foliage and we roamed the venue and didn’t even get hit by a ball! Our favorite photos are when we took Carolyn and Kyle into the ballroom right before their ceremony for some super romantic shots. The ceremony was so sweet as we heard how they met and their love story. Then it was party time! Carolyn got annoyed at the length of her dress and after disappearing for a minute she came back with it having been cut perfectly to tea-length! The dance floor was insane and the night ended with Blue Heron Pines’ amazing dessert room and lots of pie!
